There are currently 3 Parish Councillor vacancies on Barham Parish Council.

Whatever needs tackling or improving locally, becoming a parish councillor gives people the opportunity to change things.
YOU can help to make a difference to the quality of life for people in Barham.
If you are;
- Age 18 or over
- You are an elector of the parish
- During the whole of the last 12 months have occupied as owner or tenant, land or other premises in the parish
The Parish Council meets every 3 months on the first Monday, at 7pm. Meetings are held in Barham Village Hall.
The best way to find out what it’s like to be a Parish Councillor is to talk to someone who’s doing it now, come along to a Parish Council meeting, email the Parish Clerk or email Darren the Chairman at firstname.lastname@example.org

Changes to Home But Not Alone phoneline - From 5pm on 31 July, the Home but Not Alone phoneline will no longer provide Free emergency food deliveries or Medicine deliveries. The Government has written to Shielded residents in Suffolk and made them aware of these changes. However, these support services are designed to be reintroduced and stood up once again if there is a significant local outbreak. For the short-term, the team at Home but Not Alone will still be able to offer help/advice and signpost to neighbourhood or countywide support. As a reminder the number is 0800 876 6926.
DATE OF THE NEXT PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
Date of the next meeting Monday, 7th September, Barham Village Hall. The meeting will be restricted to 30 people, therefore please advise the Clerk by Friday 4the September if you are planning to attend the meeting. This will enable the chairs to be positioned in an appropriate socially distanced way.
